COMMUNITY EMERGENCY FUNDS

One of the crucial issues that affect Africans in diaspora and immigrants from other countries is how to deal effectively with emergency situations that arise in their home countries and in their countries of permanent residence. Most of the time, community members take loans or borrow money from credit cards with high interest payments in an effort to meet demands of emergencies. Borrowing from credit cards and loans further increase debt burdens and reduce chances of investments for immigrants.

To enable members of the community to invest without premature termination, ACICC has developed a community emergency relief program.

Members who have paid their 5 year membership fee of $50 and have been making their monthly payments can borrow money without interest if eligibility criteria is met.
